This program is aimed for high-level in Japanese speaking in the countries/ regional of Asia and Oceania (total 8 days period of 16 - 23 Nov 2008) discussion session. Accomodation and ticket will be provided by JAL.

Requirement:

- Indonesia citizenship age min. 20 years old (under or post graduate) University student at JABODETABEK area.

- Have a Nihongo Noryoku shiken 1 Kyu Level.

INDONESIA ENGLISH LANGUAGE STUDY PROGRAM (IELSP)

Kesempatan Terakhir Tahun 2008!

Dapatkan pengalaman yang sangat berharga melalui Beasiswa penuh (full-funding) yang diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa S1 dari berbagai bidang studi untuk belajar Bahasa Inggris intensif di universitas ternama di Amerika Serikat selama 8 minggu. Beberapa teman kita sudah mengikuti program ini dari cohort 1 - cohort 6.

Beasiswa ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris peserta, khususnya dalam English for Academic Purposes. Peserta akan bergabung dengan mahasiswa dari negara lain dalam kelas internasional. Selain itu, peserta akan mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mempelajari secara langsung kebudayaan dan masyarakat Amerika Serikat dalam berbagai program budaya yang akan memberikan pengalaman yang sangat berharga.

Persyaratan:

v Berumur 19 – 24 tahun

v Terdaftar aktif sebagai mahasiswa S1 minimal tahun ketiga (semester 5 keatas) di perguruan tinggi manapun diseluruh Indonesia (dan belum dinyatakan lulus)

v Memiliki kemampuan Bahasa Inggris dengan baik – dengan nilai TOEFL® ITP minimal 450 (bukan Prediction Test).

v Memiliki prestasi akademik yang baik

v Memiliki komitmen untuk mengikuti secara penuh program pelatihan intensif selama 8 minggu di Amerika Serikat (rencana berangkat April/Mei/Juni/Oktober 2009).

v Aktif, mandiri, bertanggung jawab, percaya diri dan berpikiran luas

The Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholars Program 2008-2009

The Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholarship Program provides a scholarship for a four-year course of study toward a bachelor’s degree for up to twenty-two exceptionally able Asian students annually from these countries and regions: the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

• Applications must be postmarked or submitted online by January 1, 2009.

• Students are advised to register now for SAT (or ACT) and TOEFL or IELTS.

• Notification by April 1, 2009.

• Japan notification by March 1, 2009.


Wesleyan is now accepting applications for participation in the Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholarship Program. The chosen applicants will join 2,800 other Wesleyan undergraduates from throughout the United States and nearly 50 countries for study with an outstanding teaching and research faculty in the sciences and mathematics, the arts, the humanities, and the social and behavioral sciences.


This program is made possible by Wesleyan University and the Freeman Foundation, which aims to improve understanding and to strengthen ties between the United States and the countries and regions of the Pacific Rim.

There will be INFORMATION SESSIONS in mid October 2008.

All interested students, parents, teachers and advisors are welcome

to attend an information session presented by Wesleyan

Associate Dean of Admission Terri Overton. Information about

Wesleyan's resources and offerings will be presented, as well as

details about the application process. Freeman Asian Scholarship

candidates and applicants for general admission are all encouraged to

attend. Wesleyan alumni and parents may also be present, providing

valuable insights about the institution.

ASIAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP 2009



The Japan Foundation offers scholarship to study the Japanese language for Asian students, who wish to study at graduate schools in Japan and have a strong wish to contribute to regional cooperation after obtaining a Master or Ph. D Degree.
